Taiga is the coziest blanket—made from 100% Mongolian yak down—it's a sustainable fiber as warm and soft as cashmere and lighter on the earth.

Rare yak down is Hangai's passion because it is exquisitely soft, warm, unbleached and undyed. Yak have a special sustainability story: They are relatively light on the land because they graze without uprooting the native steppe grasses like other animals. The yak down used to weave and knit their throws and blankets is sourced largely from the Hangai mountains, which inspired their name.

The Taiga meaning “the land of little sticks” is a boreal, northern forest characterized by long, cold winters. Our Taiga throw is designed to keep you cozy and warm at sub-zero temperatures. The Taiga throw debuts in black and platinum yak.
