All images are archival pigment prints on premium fiber-based paper. They are mounted on Di-bond, an aluminum composite substrate of the highest quality, and placed in handmade hard- wood frames painted with a bright white satin finish. Signature and edition information on verso of the mounted piece and are visible through an archival window in the backing of the frame.
Michael Gaillard has had solo exhibitions in New York City, California, and Massachusetts. He began exhibiting on Nantucket in 2007, and since then his work has found its way into thousands of collectors' homes. From 2014 to 2020, he owned Michael Gaillard Studio on Nantucket where he exhibited his large-scale landscape photography. In 2022 Gaillard took a space at 576 Warburton Avenue in his new hometown of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY and converted it into an exhibition space and a hub for his production and experimentation.
Over the past two decades Michael has exhibited in New York and Nantucket as well as other locations and his work is featured in over a thousand private collections. Michael also continues to travel on commissions throughout the world producing bespoke pieces of art for his collectors.
Born on Nantucket in 1979, Gaillard is a graduate of Stanford University and Columbia University where he received his MFA.
