FROM THE ROAD Scarf Collection | Anala
This four-sided fringed linen scarf is handwoven by expert weavers in Nepal.
It is crafted with two sets of subtly placed uneven stripes, over-dyed, and then weathered naturally in the Himalayan elements. This process takes time and the necessary techniques to achieve the fine weave of these luxurious scarves takes many years apprenticeship to learn.
FTR travels the globe in search of artisans who use traditional techniques in danger of disappearing.
"Each season we live, work and collaborate with these kindred spirits to create beautiful objects for home and fashion that are both modern and authentic. It's our goal to preserve their artistry and support their way of life." —FTR Founder, Susan Easton
